Specific needs in 2007
1. Sponsorship for the new 18 students at $75 a month per child for 4 1/2 years
2. Salary increases in July for the 12 new Team members at a cost of $350 a month
3. Funding for a new building on the 20 acres - $20,000 - to be used for skills training
4. Funds to put in an orchard of 572 trees -- mango, orange,
avocado, mulberry -- on the 3 acres across the road from the Boys'
Center (area that is too rocky for plowing) - $3,200
5. "Digital books" (including interactive learning, fiction,
general knowledge, skills training), some of which is for students
reading at a 3rd to 5th grade level. Can be downloaded from the
internet or on CDs.
6. Additional tools for auto mechanics shop -- variable cost
